Council Congratulates Bea Reinacher on Retirement From Borough

Reinacher worked in various capacities during her 32 years with the borough.

Council honored Beatrice Reinacher last Monday evening, congratulating her on her retirement from the borough.

In a proclamation, Mayor J. Brooke Hern said Reinacher began her career in July of 1979, working in the Borough Clerk’s office. In her 32 years, she also worked in many capacities, including the Assessor’s Office and Recreation Department, where she became a “valuable member of the borough’s workforce.”

“Bea’s dedication to her community coupled with her warm and caring personality made her a friendly face at borough hall,” Hern said as he read from the proclamation. “Bea is well respected by her peers and superiors, and has dedicated her career to public service. Bea has served the Borough of New Providence with the utmost professionalism, and has always made her community a top priority.”

Hern thanked Reinacher for her dedication to the community, wishing her and her family the very best in all future endeavors.

“Thank you very much,” Reinacher said. “Thirty two years is a long time to work for the borough. I’ve met many of you, worked with many of you, and I will miss everyone connected with the borough. Thank you.”

Reinacher received a standing ovation from the large crowd that was gathered at the council meeting.
