Election Day 2019: Everything Berkeley Heights Needs To Know

NEW PROVIDENCE/BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in New Providence and Berkeley Heights.

Four people are vying for two, three-year seats on the township council: Democrats Julie Figlar and Rina Franchino and Republicans Manuel Couto and Gentiana Brahimaj.

Five people are running for three, three-year terms on the Berkeley Heights Board of Education: Helen Kirsch, Michael D'Aquila, Shengwu Du, Robert Cianciulli, and Angela Penna.

Three people are running for three, three-year terms on the council: Democrat John Keane and Republicans Michele Matsikoudis and Robert Munoz.

Two people are running unopposed for seats on the board of education: Bernadette Cuccaro and Joseph Walsh.
