Mountainside To Host First-Ever Memorial Day Parade
Residents encouraged to line Bridle Path, Wood Valley Road and Central Avenue on May 28 at noon to honor our Veterans and memorialize the brave individuals lost at war.

Mountainside’s first-ever Memorial Day parade will commence on Monday, May 28 at 12 p.m. at the Veterans flagpole monument on Constitution Plaza (between the Fire House & Library).
Upon conclusion of the opening ceremony, Veterans, Scouts, Rescue Squad, Fire Department, Police, Rotary Club and community groups will parade toward Deerfield School. The parade will proceed from Constitution Plaza up to Bridle Path to Wood Valley Road to Central Avenue, ending in Deerfield School’s parking lot around 1 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to line the streets of Bridle Path, Wood Valley Rd. (between Bridle Path & Central) and Central Avenue, (between Wood Valley & Deerfield School). Show your appreciation for our Veterans and those brave individuals who were lost as we memorialize them in this way.

Spectators are encouraged to car pool and park in the rear of the Fire House, Borough Hall, Pool, Deerfield School and Our Lady of Lourdes church. Parade watchers, marchers and residents are asked to please not park on the streets along the parade route.
