Niche.com ranked the best public high schools in the state of New Jersey.

New Providence High School has been named the 26th best public high school in the state of New Jersey by Niche.com.

Niche.com is dedicated to evaluating U.S. and Puerto Rican schools based on parent and student reviews. The site reported that parent/student surveys gave New Providence High School an A+ overall Niche grade.

The school scored an A+ ranking in two categories, including academics and teachers, and three A grades. The lowest grade the school received was in student culture and diversity, scoring a B-, according to Niche.com.

The website uses a very detailed set of methods to rank the top 100 schools in New Jersey. The site collected 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 New Jersey students and parents.

  • District schools are made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture;
  • Students are actively involved in a variety of extracurriculars and sports the district offers.
