New Providence Mom Opens MedSpa, Salon And Aroma Oxy Bar
A Hollywood red carpet champagne reception and ribbon cutting for Luminous MedSpa And Salon in New Providence will be held on Sunday.
NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — New Providence’s Heather Hoffman is known as many things — a mom, wife, entrepreneur and salon owner. She was even named NJ Mompreneur by Mom.com for all of her work around the community.
Now Hoffman is changing directions and opening a more luxurious experience for locals. Hoffman had a hair salon in New Providence last year but realized there was a need for more in the community so she is opening Luminous MedSpa & Salon.
A champgne reception and hollywood red carpet grand opening event will be held on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. with more than 200 people attending including Congressman Leonard Lance, Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz and Mayor Al Morgan.

Champagne and Hors d'oeuvres will be served and there will also be big raffles, discounts and giveaways.
“I wanted to be unique and up with the times,” Hoffman told Patch. “There is nothing like this in the area and people want it. Most drive into New York City to get these services. We are so much more than a hair salon now.”

Luminous MedSpa & Salon still offers hair services and treatments but now also has a MediSpa, with a doctor on staff to do non-invasive cosmetic procedures such as botox, fat reduction, coolsculpting, peels, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, injectables and more.
Along with the MediSpa, Hoffman also has an Oxygen Rejuvination Bar where you can breath in fresh oxygen that will boost energy, concentration, alertness, memory and more.
“I think we are the only ones in New Jersey that offer the Oxy Bar,” Hoffman said.
A lot of these services can also be done while a client is getting hair done.
“These are all amazing, incredible treatments,” Hoffman said.
