St. Patrick School (SPS), a National Blue Ribbon School and an AdvancED STEM Certified School located in Chatham, NJ, will host Tiny Tot Thursdays, beginning October 25 at 10:00 a.m. featuring Chatham community leader, Alex Chin, a fireman for Chatham Borough. Held monthly, each Tiny Tot Thursdays program will feature storytime by a community leader followed by creative craft-making in the school’s new STEM Makerspace. Tiny Tot Thursdays provides parents and caregivers of toddlers, ages 2-5 years, with the opportunity to help their little ones build early literacy and creativity skills while also fostering social skills.
“I am extremely pleased to offer this worthwhile program to our surrounding community and to the many families with young children who want to encourage reading and imaginative skills at an early age,” explained Dr. Christine Ross, Principal at St. Patrick School. “It will be a fun hour for the children and their parents or caregivers as we explore through stories and crafts and meet local community leaders of all kinds.”
Following the first October 25th session, the next SPS Tiny Tot Thursdays will occur on Thursday, November 15. Following the November program, the next one will take place on December 13. St. Patrick School’s Tiny Tot Thursdays is FREE and open to all children 2-5 years of age with an accompanying parent or caregiver from surrounding communities of St. Patrick School. Those wishing to attend must RSVP to SPSRSVP@st-pats.org or call 713-635-4623.
