How do you know the teacher?
Son was a student
What does this person teach?
English Language Arts
Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Imagine a group of students who (a) hate school, (b) only love math, and (c) have had a new ELA teacher every year ~ sometimes 2 new ones. Then imagine a teacher who decided to teach because he wanted to help kids like himself. Then imagine all of the students, including my kiddo, actually like ELA (as much as math) and read during their reading periods.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
Dave "gets it." 2E kids do not need dumbed down material ~ they need to be respected and their anxiety understood
