Water Main Break Closes Maple Avenue

A detour is set up for residents​ to use Baker Avenue to get out to Springfield Avenue.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — A water main break is being reported on Maple Avenue in Berkeley Heights Tuesday morning.

The break is located near house number 40. The road is closed in both directions as a result, police reported around 8:40 a.m.

A detour is set up for residents to use Baker Avenue to get out to Springfield Avenue.

"NJ American Water Company has been notified. There is no ETA for completion of the repairs," Berkeley Heights Police said.
