Wharton Music Center in Berkeley Heights Now Houses Theater Company
Alliance Repertory, a professional theater company, has upcoming shows at Wharton Center in September, March and May.
Alliance Repertory, a professional theater company entering it's 14th season, has taken up residence at the Wharton Music Center in Berkeley Heights.
"We are very happy to be at the Wharton Music Center," said Artistic Director Michael Driscoll. "We are delighted at having the opportunity to bring quality theater at an affordable price to the people of Berkeley Heights and the surrounding communities."
The company's first production at the Wharton Center will be SMUDGE, a dark comedy by Rachel Axler.

Axler is a two-time Emmy Award Winner and has written for The Daily Show and Parks And Recreation. SMUDGE opens Sept. 14 and continues each weekend through Sept. 29.
In March, Alliance Repertory will produce PUSS IN BOOTS, the delightful children's show that has entertained youngsters for many years.

PUSS IN BOOTS will be a part of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Stages Festival, a month long event that offers discounted tickets.
In May, the company will present MATT AND BEN, a hilarious spoof on two of Hollywood's most famous leading men.
Variety called MATT AND BEN "a runaway hit!" and Time Magazine listed it as one of the top 5 plays in 2003.
