Woman Who Used Racial Slur Against Dog Walker Sought By Police
Berkeley Heights police are looking for the woman who was filmed in Columbia Park on Saturday morning.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ — Police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman who on Saturday morning was filmed in Columbia Park yelling a racial epithet at another woman.
In the video, shared by Ritu Chandra on Facebook, the woman can be seen walking toward Chandra before swearing at her and calling her a racial slur.
Chandra and a friend were walking their dogs when the woman "verbally assaulted" them, Chandra told Patch via Facebook message.

"I have never spoken to this woman in my life prior to this event," Chandra said. "I started taping her and asked her to repeat (what she said.) The rest is on video."
As of Saturday evening, the video was still available to view on Facebook. (Warning: The video contains the use of profanity and a racial slur.)
