• Cops hunting for man accused of attempting N.J. bank robbery — but leaving empty-handed (nj.com subscription) — Northfield police are searching for a man who tried to rob the TD Bank on Tilton Road Friday afternoon but left without any cash. The suspect, described as about 6 feet tall with a thin build and wearing black clothing and a mask, fled in a dark-colored sedan. Residents with information are urged to contact the Northfield Police Department.
