Oakland Police Arrest Man On Drug-Possession Charges

Police stopped a vehicle on Ramapo Valley Road recently. The traffic stop led to drug charges being filed against a man.

OAKLAND, NJ β€” A traffic stop on Ramapo Valley Road earlier this month resulted in drug charges being filed against a man, police announced.

Officer Michael Griffin stopped a vehicle on Ramapo Valley Road Sept. 19 that resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old Harrison man, said Detective Lt. Christian Eldridge.

The man was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Eldridge.

The man was taken into custody, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.
