Ramapo-Indian Hills Students Named Winners of National French Contest
A handful of local high school students were saying "oui oui" after finding out they were among the winners of the 78th Annual National French Contest.

Five students from the Ramapo-Indian Hills Regional High School District were listed among National and/or Chapter winners of the 78 Annual National French Contest.
As described on their Facebook page, the Nation French Contest is an annual competition in which students take a written test and compete against other students with similar educational backgrounds for prizes. French students in grades 1-12, from all 50 states and abroad, are involved in the competition.

“It is with much pride that the French teachers of the RIH High School District announce the winners of the National French Contest, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. The following national winners placed in the top 10 percent of the country. The chapter winner placed in the top 10 percent of the New Jersey Chapter of the AATF. Awards will be given at a later date.”
