Teen Airlifted, Woman Injured In Oakland Crash: Police
An 18-year-old was medevacked after a two-vehicle crash Monday on Skyline Drive, police said.
OAKLAND, NJ — A Medevac helicopter flew to the scene of a crash on Monday in Oakland to transport a seriously injured 18-year-old, who was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Skyline Drive, Police Chief Keith Sanzari said.
An initial investigation revealed that the male teenager, who was driving a Toyota Corolla, crossed from the southbound lane over the double yellow line when he struck a Ford van that was going north, police said.
The teenager, of West Milford, was extricated from the car, and after a Medevac flight to a landing zone at Indian Hills High School, he was taken to an area hospital, police said.

The driver of the van, a 64-year-old Ringwood woman, was taken to another hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
