The Week Ahead in Oakland

• The Borough Mayor and Council are scheduled to meet Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Municipal Court Chambers. The Council is expected to adopt the 2013 municipal budget that has recently been amended. The meeting is open to the public.
• The Oakland Shade Tree Commission will hold their monthly meeting on Monday evening at 7 p.m. The commission meets at Borough Hall and the meeting is open to the public. For more information visit the Borough website.
