The county road is closed between 18th and 22nd streets.

Bay Avenue will remain closed to traffic in both directions between 18th and 22nd streets for at least two more days as crews repair a sinkhole in the road that appeared on Wednesday, April 10.
About 138 feet of sewer line and a gas main need work before street repairs begin.
The cause of the sinkhole has not been determined, according to Ocean City Police Capt. Steve Ang.
