WILDWOOD, NJ – It is the season of giving, but every day of the year Cape Assist is dedicated to giving residents of Cape May County tools such as education, advocacy, and counseling to prevent and treat substance misuse. Now the organization is humbled and honored to be receiving a gift from the community, as it has been chosen for Broadley’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning’s Charitable Giving campaign.

Cape Assist is one of three local organizations featured in the Charitable Giving campaign, which began three years ago. Broadley’s, based in Marmora, presents the charities to their customers and the community, and asks them to vote for the charity they would most like to see receive a monetary donation.

All the charities receive a donation from Broadley’s, but the charity with the most votes receives the highest donation amount of $2,500, and then $1,000 for the second place and $500 for third place. Family Promise of Cape May County and The Lunch with Lynch Foundation of Wildwood are the other charities in this season’s program.
