Cape Assist’s Endless Summer Benefit celebrates milestone & conclusion
The annual benefit celebrating decade milestone raises funds and awareness for programs and services for youth and families in Cape May Co.

AVALON, NJ – After a decade of memories made in support of Cape Assist’s prevention efforts, the organization held its final Endless Summer Benefit on Sept. 26 at the Icona Windrift in Avalon. It was a night of celebration and gratitude as the 250 guests enjoyed scenic ocean views, vibrant decor, and authentic Polynesian culture and entertainment.
Started in 2013, Cape Assist’s Endless Summer Benefit evolved over the years to become a foundational event for the prevention community while raising funds for Cape Assist to provide much-needed services and programs. Since its inception, the event has been furthered through support from local businesses and individuals, including major supporters such as the Avalon Lions Club, Sturdy Savings, and Icona Windrift. With the help of these sponsors and Cape Assist staff, the Endless Summer Benefit gradually grew from a modest sit-down dinner of 80 individuals into an engaging entertainment-fundraising experience that connected with over 300 attendees.
Cape Assist’s decision to conclude this annual event revolves around a desire to branch out and focus on a fundraising event that would be more inclusive to youth and families. The Covid-19 Pandemic (during 2020 and 2021) kept the event from happening the 12 consecutive years.
