Cape Assist’s Endless Summer Benefit reaches decade milestone
Cape Assist seeks sponsors to continue offering community support and programming

AVALON, NJ - With heavy hearts, Cape Assist announces that this year will mark the final Annual Endless Summer Benefit, a beloved event that has reached its decade milestone. This cherished benefit will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at the Icona Windrift in Avalon, featuring fun-filled summer vibes and authentic Polynesian entertainment from 6 to 9 p.m.
Over the years, the Endless Summer Benefit has evolved into more than just an event; it has become a cornerstone for the community. It's a platform that allows attendees to connect with the nonprofit and learn how to contribute to building a healthier and safer environment for Cape May County’s youth and families. The event has seen steady growth in both attendees and revenue since its inception, a testament to the overwhelming support from local businesses and individuals, each of whom is a vital part of this cause. Each year comes with an abundance of community support, and Cape Assist is reminded of the generosity of its many major event donors like the Avalon Lions Club, Sturdy Savings, and Icona Windrift.
Cape Assist is dedicated to raising awareness about the many free services and programs it offers that are crucial for Cape May County communities. For decades, the organization has been committed to preventing and treating substance misuse, addressing mental health issues, and tackling other related challenges in Cape May County through education, advocacy, counseling, and community collaboration. The impact of these programs is profound, and it's all made possible by community support. Cape Assist hosts numerous events throughout the year for local youth and families, providing opportunities to develop healthy habits and build a stronger community. Additionally, many trainings and programs are held throughout the year for adults, parents, law enforcement, educators, and businesses with the goal of developing a safer, more inclusive, and healthier foundation for individuals to thrive and grow.

“Planning this event each year is a constant reminder of how vital Cape Assist’s initiatives and programming are,” said Cape Assist Director of Communications Tusa Magalogo-Fitisemanu. “The community comes together for an evening of fun and gratitude. Cape Assist couldn’t provide this level of community support without our sponsors and partnerships.
