Community Center Recognizes Contribution of Margaret 'Peggy' Lloyd
A donation will be dedicated to the pool at the Aquatics and Fitness Center.
The Ocean City Community Center dedicated a new plaque on Sunday morning in recognition of a donation from Margaret "Peggy" Lloyd.
Lloyd, 99, asked that the amount of the donation not be released, but it is reported the largest ever received by the Ocean City Community Center Association. She asked that the contribution be dedicated to the pool at the Ocean City Aquatics and Fitness Center.
Lloyd has served on the board of directors for the Ocean City Pops, the Ocean City Arts Center and the Ocean City Aquatics and Fitness Center, and she has been a generous donor to each of the organizations.
