Missing NJ Girl Found In GA, Duo Charged With Child Luring
The 14-year-old was reported missing last month and found Thursday, authorities said.
MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ - Two men were arrested after a 14-year-old girl reported missing out of Middle Township was found in Georgia last week, authorities said.
Yester R Montecillos-Vazquez and Sergio Gomez were charged with luring a child and conspiracy to lure a child, Middle Township police said in a statement. Both are being held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in Canton, Ga.
The teen was first reported missing around 1:30 p.m. on July 30, police said. Through an “extensive investigation” involving the Middle Township Police Department Major Crimes Unit, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, Homeland Security Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, she was found safe in Acworth, Georgia, shortly after midnight on Thursday.
