New 4-Way Stops Installed In Ocean City

New four-way stop signs were installed Thursday on two Simpson Avenue intersections.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Four-way stop signs were installed on Thursday at two intersections along Simpson Avenue, Ocean City officials said.

This is to serve as a traffic-calming measure as adjacent intersections in the neighborhood have four-way stops, officials said.

  • 11th Street and Simpson Avenue
  • 13th Street and Simpson Avenue

“Public safety will always be our top priority,” Mayor Jay A. Gillian said in a release. “I’m glad to see this work get done.”

Ocean City police ask pedestrians and drivers to be aware of the new traffic pattern and to use caution as people adjust to it.
