State Police released a video Saturday that shows troopers rescuing a stranded jet skier in an Ocean City marsh on June 26.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — New Jersey State Police released a video Saturday that shows four troopers rescuing a stranded jet skier from a helicopter in an Ocean City marsh on June 26.
The Marine Services Bureau was contacted around 1:45 p.m. by a stranded jet skier who had been stuck in the mud for three hours, State Police said in a statement on Saturday.
Troopers requested assistance from the Aviation Unit when they learned that high tide was several hours away and rescue by boat would not be a viable option, police said.
