MIDDLE TWP., NJ — The South Jersey elementary school teacher accused of sexually assaulting her student "manipulated" the student's family, his sister told NJ.com.

The sister, who spoke anonymously as the family has not been identified by authorities, told the news outlet that the allegations against Laura Caron have her sick to her stomach.

"Manipulated. Let me use that word," the sister told NJ Advance Media. "She manipulated us."

Caron, 34, got pregnant by the student and had his baby when she was 28 and he was just 13, authorities allege. This was during the time period the children were living with Caron - a time period where authorities say Caron was assaulting the boy about twice a week for four years.

The sister told NJ Advance Media that she wasn't sure why her siblings stayed at Caron's house as she was a young child when it occurred, and authorities have not made that reason clear either. She said that her brothers stayed at Caron's home while she would occasionally spend nights at other places.

The sister told authorities that the children would sleep in a shared room on the second floor, but she would wake up and find her brother in Caron's bed.

She also said that when her brother would shower, Caron would enter the bathroom and lock the door, according to court documents.

The victim's brother told authorities that one night while watching a movie together, he saw Caron and his brother engaging in a sexual act while they believed him to be asleep. He said he thought his brother was 11 at that time, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

The boy, now 19, denied being a victim. He recently told Daily Mail that Caron "never initiated anything."

"I wasn't groomed or raped or manipulated by her," the teen told DailyMail.com. Instead, he said he "started everything," and said that all charges filed against Caron should be dropped. Read more: NJ Teen Who Impregnated Teacher Says He's Not A Victim: Report
