Ocean City Accepting Queen Infanta Candidates Through Friday

In a tradition dating back to 1929, Ocean City chooses a Queen Infanta to preside over the city's annual Baby Parade.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Registration will be open for Queen Infanta candidates through Friday.

In a tradition dating back to 1929, Ocean City chooses a Queen Infanta to preside over the city’s annual Baby Parade.

The 111th annual Baby Parade in Ocean City is set for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12.

Queen Infanta candidates are judged on their school and community involvement. The contest is open to young women with a connection to Ocean City who are currently in high school or members of the Class of 2021.

More information and registration for both the Baby Parade and Queen Infanta are available online. The deadline to register for Queen Infanta is Friday, July 30.
