Ocean City Girls Win, Boys Fall to EHT in Swimming

The Ocean City High School girls' swim team remained unbeaten at 3-0 with a 90-80 victory over Egg Harbor Township on Monday.

The girls swept all three relays, and Aly Chain (200 IM and 100 butterfly), Noel Styer (50 free), Gabby Breazeale (400 free) and Rachel Chain (100 back) added individual victories.

The boys' team fell 103-62 to Egg Harbor Township in the double dual meet, but sophomore Kevin Gill broke his own school record in the 400-meter freestyle.

Gill had broken Pat Lavin's record in the 400 free last week. He also won the 200-meter freestyle.

Freshman Michael Fiscus was also a double-winner for the Red Raiders in the 200-meter individual medley and 100-meter butterfly. Senior Zach Greaser won the 50-meter freestyle.

The Ocean City boys fall to 1-2 on the season after a narrow four-point loss to Holy Spirit last week in a meet with Gill and Fiscus absent.
