The annual Dixie Howell Middle School Basketball Tournament was held Dec. 15 in Ocean City.

Middle Township was the winner in the boys' bracket, with Upper Township as runner-up. Upper Township won the girls' tournament, with Middle Township as runner-up.

Upper Township's Nicholl Fenton was MVP for the girls, and Middle Township's Nadine Coyle won the sportsmanship award.
