Services for Former City Clerk Angela Pileggi Will Be on Saturday Morning
Pileggi's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at St. Peter's United Methodist Church.

A funeral service for former City Clerk Angela Pileggi will be held 11 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 22) at St. Peter's United Methodist Church. Pileggi had a 30-year career serving the City of Ocean City. Her obituary is as follows:
Pileggi, Angela (December 18, 2012), Pileggi, Angela (nee Longo) 75 of Ocean City, NJ passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ. Mrs. Pileggi was born in and a life long resident of Ocean City, NJ. She worked for the City of Ocean City, NJ for 30 years, first as the secretary for the City Civil Engineers office and continued as the city’s Deputy Clerk before becoming City Clerk. Mrs. Pileggi was a member of the New Jersey State Municipal Clerks Association and a member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Ocean City, NJ. She was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Hodgdon. Surviving are her husband, Donald Pileggi of Ocean City, NJ, her children, Marilinda Hodgdon, William Hodgdon, Marlene Hodgdon all of New York City, NY, Donald Pileggi, Jr. of Somers Point, NJ, two grandchildren, Nicole of South Carolina, Brooke of Northfield, NJ, a brother, Frank Longo of Ocean City, NJ, two sisters, Antoinette Morris and her husband Bernie of Ocean City, NJ, and Mary Hartz and her husband Jay of Chicago, Il. Her Funeral Service will be offered Saturday morning at 11 o’clock from St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, Eighth Street at Central Avenue, Ocean City, NJ. Burial will follow in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
