Children's Library Events Tuesday in Parsippany

Here's a look at what's going on in Parsippany.

There are plenty of events for children Tuesday in Parsippany.

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Caldecott Award at the Lake Hiawatha Branch of the Parsippany Public Library, at 68 Nokomis Ave.

“Listen to wonderful stories and learn more about their authors and illustrators through fun activities and art projects,” the library says on its website.

The event is for children entering first grade and up and runs from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult when in the library or program.

Rizzo's Reptiles is for children ages five and up and will take place from 7 to 7:45 p.m. at the Main Library at 449 Halsey Road.

Twilight Tales Storytime is for children five and under at the Lake Hiawatha Branch. It runs from 7 to 7:45 p.m.

“Children will enjoy engaging stories, interactive songs and activities, and will make a simple craft to take home,” members of the library stated.
