Hamilton Farms In Boonton Announces Closing

After close to 100 years, the family owned farm is closing for good.

BOONTON, NJ — After 90 years in the family farm business, Hamilton Farms in Boonton will not reopen for the 2019 season.

Hamilton Farms Greenhouses and Farm Market have been family owned, selling wholesale and retail flowers, herbs, and other garden plants. Between April and December, the farm also sold locally grown seasonal fresh produce.

"We are very grateful to everyone who has come from near and far and supported our family business. We greatly appreciate every single one of our customers for your patronage year after year. Our customers are the reason we had a long and successful run - we couldn’t have done it without you," the farm said in a message posted to their Facebook page.
