“I beyond shocked and honored to win the 2014 Bammy Award,” Malespina said. “This is not something I expected at all. I learn so much on a daily basis from my fellow nominees - Shannon, Jennifer, Laura and Jonathan - and many more teacher librarians out there. Without them I would not be half the librarian I am, I cannot thank them enough!”
