PARSIPPANY, NJ — No good deed goes unrecognized: a group of Parsippany teenagers that got up before dawn to shovel their sick neighbor's driveway were rewarded with a free dinner at Applebee's.

Instead of sleeping in on the March 4th snow day, five Parsippany High School students got up at 4 a.m. and got to work, clearing a neighbor's driveway, so she could make it to her dialysis treatment.

Senior Patrick Lanigan spearheaded the effort, after realizing his neighbor's dialysis treatment started at 6 a.m., the Daily Record reported. Friends Justin Stanton, Chris Leibfred, Tyler Grieco and Amon Sharafi all helped out, making sure the driveway was clear before an ambulance arrived to transport the neighbor. It was no small feat either — Parsippany got eight inches of snow.
