Bulk items must still be dropped at a public works garage or scheduled for city pickup, even as council members debate whether the cost savings are worth the trash piling up on local streets.

Paterson Family Searching for Missing Dog Last Seen Near School 6 (tapinto.net) — A Paterson family is asking neighbors to help find their missing dog, Luigi, last seen Nov. 25 near School 6 by Carroll Street and Hamilton Avenue. The tan-and-white Lab–Pit mix, wearing a gray collar, may have been picked up by a student or family, and the owners say their three children are devastated without him.
   

3. Jackson Effort to Limit Tax Breaks for Developers Fails to Garner Council Support (tapinto.net) — Paterson’s effort to scale back generous tax breaks for developers has stalled after a draft ordinance to exit the state’s Garden State Growth Zone program was pulled from the City Council agenda.
