• Holiday Drunk Driving Crackdown Kicks Off In NJ (patch.com) — Pleasantville police are joining New Jersey’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday crackdown, backed by a $2,800 state grant for extra patrols and checkpoints. The campaign, running through New Year’s Day, targets impaired driving as crashes typically rise this time of year, with more than 120 other departments also stepping up enforcement statewide.
