POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The arrival of Halloween Eve brings with it the annual reminder about juvenile curfews.

In Point Pleasant, kids under 17 years old must be off the streets from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The curfew includes limited exceptions for teens returning from work, a school, religious or community event, or assisting with a medical emergency.

It is in effect Wednesday and Thursday nights, and ends at 6 a.m. Friday, Point Pleasant police said.

There are no set times for trick-or-treating on Halloween.
