Lauren Kelly Of Point Pleasant Dies At 55

Lauren Kelly, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at The Cancer Center of America in Pennsylvania.

Born in Plainfield and raised in Bridgewater, Lauren has resided in Point Pleasant for the past 17 years.

Lauren worked as a daycare provider, most recently for Point Academy.

Mrs. Kelly loved music, the beach and going out on her boat. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Jean Libby.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Brian Kelly and her sons Brandon and Ryan Kelly; her sister, Susan Whitehead and her husband Ron and their daughter, Kendall. She is also survived by many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m on Jan. 20, 2017 at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 9:15 a.m. at St. Peter's R.C. Church in Point Pleasant. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Brielle.
