Construction Closing Some Streets In Point Pleasant Beach
The road construction is causing detours and traffic delays, police said.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Daytime road closures are in place on Arnold Avenue and McLean Avenue on Thursday due to road construction, Point Pleasant Beach police said.
The road construction is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, police said.
On Thursday, the construction was on the 600 block of Arnold Avenue and the 500 block of McLean Avenue, and both were closed in both directions in those areas, police said in an alert.

Both lanes of Route 35 south are shifted into the left shoulder from River Avenue to Laurel Avenue, police said.
There was no estimate of how many days the construction will disrupt traffic, police said. Drivers should plan ahead for traffic delays and detours.
