Pedestrian Injured In Herbertsville Road Accident On Monday
The section of roadway between Curtis and Butler avenues was closed after the accident, then reopened later.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - Borough police are investigating a single-car accident that injured a pedestrian on Herbertsville Road on Monday, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.
The pedestrian was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center after the accident, which led to the closure of the roadway between Curtis and Butler avenues.
"The pedestrian crossed the roadway near a blind turn for westbound traffic," Lokerson said. "The accident is still under investigation."
