Point Boro Man Charged With Drunk Driving, Leaving Accident Scene

Accident occurred at intersection of Rue and Philadelpha avenues, police report says

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - Point Pleasant police recently arrested a borough man and charged him with drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident, Capt. Robert Lokerson said

Officer Christopher M. Phillips arrested Brian A. Aloia, 38, River Road at 10:28 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the intersection of Rue and Philadelphia avenues, he said.

Aloia was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving an unattended vehicle, refusal to submit to sobriety tests and reckless driving, Lokerson said.
