Point Borough, Point Beach Schools Closed On Friday

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - Students in both the Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach school districts can sleep in on Friday morning.

Both school districts will be closed on Friday, Jan. 5 as the area digs out from Thursday's blizzard. The decision to close the districts was made on Thursday.

But it's doubtful the snow is going anywhere. Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high of only 19 degrees and winds from 28 to 31 miles per hour, with gusts up to 47 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday will be even colder, with a high of only 14 degrees.
