POINT PLEASANT BEACH – At least two people will be running in the Point Pleasant Beach Council election in November.

Council President Thomas H. Migut and Councilwoman Caryn S. Byrnes ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on Tuesday.

They'll oppose Democrats Ernest Geiger and Thomas Brennan in the November election.

The primary was delayed from June 2 to July 7 because of the coronavirus outbreak. Absentee options will be available for voters in the November election.

  • Thomas H. Migut: 364; 49.19 percent
  • Caryn S. Byrnes: 362; 48.92 percent
