At least two people will be running in the Point Pleasant Boro Council election in November.

POINT PLEASANT BORO – At least two people will be running in the Point Pleasant Boro Council election in November.

Pamela Snyder, the council president, and Councilman John Wisniewski ran unopposed in the Republican Primary on Tuesday.

No Democrats have filed, so the two candidates will run unopposed – unless independents file to run – in the November election.

The primary was delayed from June 2 to July 7 because of the coronavirus outbreak. Absentee options will be available for voters in the November election.

  • John Wisniewski; 1,171; 49.89 percent
