4 Princeton Restaurants Earn 2022 Wine Spectator Awards
The annual awards honor excellence in restaurant wine lists and four Princeton eateries made the cut this year.
PRINCETON, NJ — Four Princeton eateries were named among the world's best restaurants for wines by Wine Spectator's 2022 Restaurant Award list.
The Restaurant Awards have had three distinct levels: The "Award of Excellence," the "Best of Award of Excellence" and the "Grand Award."
The "Best of Award of Excellence" went to Elements. The Best of Award of Excellence is given to restaurants that "go the extra mile," with lists of 350 or more selections from top producers, with a wide variety of regions and vintage depths.

Witherspoon Grill, Seasons 52 and Perch won the "Award of Excellence." The Award of Excellence is given to restaurants that carefully choose their wine lists to have 100 or more selections, containing quality and diverse selections compatible with the menu’s style and pricing, according to the magazine.

The coveted Grand Award went to two Garden State restaurants — Restaurant Latour (1 Wild Turkey Way, Hamburg), and The Pluckemin Inn (359 Route 206 S, Bedminster).
