9/11 Steel to Arrive in Princeton This Morning

The steel will become part of a 9/11 memorial in town.

 

A piece of steel recovered from the ruins of the World Trade Center in New York following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, will make its way into Princeton today, where it will eventually become the centerpiece of the town's  9/11 memorial.

The steel will be escorted from New York to Princeton by a procession that will include Princeton firefighters, various law enforcement personnel and motorcycles.

The procession is expected to arrive at Station 63 located 263 Witherspoon Street in Princeton Township between 11:30 a.m. and noon today. 

Along the way, firefighters in Lawrence Township are expected to gather and salute the procession.
