New Name Selected For Princeton's Bus Routes
Community input had been sought to help rename the municipal transit system.
PRINCETON, NJ — A new name has been selected for Princeton's municipal transit system.
Input was sought from the community to help rename the municipality's bus route system.
"We got dozens of great ideas to name the bus routes," said Councilwoman Michelle Pirone Lambros.

One community member suggested the name"Tiger Loop," which the municipality tweaked slightly.
"We settled on the Princeton Loop, and we are hoping to have a graphic design to show the public and the council in the very near future," said Lambros.

Princeton's Free Municipal Bus Service is open to the entire community. The Muni Transit starts at the Harriet Bryan House on Elm Court and travels to Nassau Street, and the Princeton Shopping Center.
This service runs Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The bus will not operate on the following observed holidays: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
