Abandoned Kittens Found In Princeton Make Recovery, Ready For Adoption
A pair of weeks-old kittens found shivering in a building in Princeton are now ready to find their forever homes, veterinary officials said.

PRINCETON, NJ - Two kittens found in a River Road property in Princeton last month are now fully recovered and ready for adoption, veterinary officials said.
“They are now two months old and thriving at their foster home, and are ready for their forever home. They would love to be adopted out together,” HomeCare Veterinary Services, who are managing the kittens’ care, said in a statement.
The kittens are “very sweet and love to cuddle” and get along with the other cat in their foster home, the veterinarian service added.

The kittens were found on Nov. 7 shivering in a tarp inside the cold structure, officials said. The kittens were about four to five weeks old at the time, Patch previously reported.
According to officials, the kittens were “cold, hungry, and very thin.” ACO Ferry immediately started supportive care with heating pads and kitten food. They were then taken to HomeCare Veterinary Services in Skillman, where doctors accessed and treated them for hypothermia, bradycardia, and hypoglycemia, police said.

As the shelter was full, a local veterinarian took the kittens home and was able to find foster care, according to police.
“ACO Ferry is grateful for the Sewer Department staff alerting him right away, and also thankful for the care given by Dr. Scheep and the staff at Homecare Vet. Because of them, these kittens didn't have to spend one more night alone in the building, with cold temperatures,” Princeton police said.
