Alexander St. Closes to Thru Traffic June 6

The work is part of contruction for Princeton University's Arts and Transit project.

 

Starting on Thursday, June 6, Alexander Street will be closed to thru traffic between College Road and University Place. This is expected to last until the end of July.

A temporary traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of College Road and University Place that will be use during the detour. This signal will go into "flash" mode beginning on Tuesday, May 28; it will begin normal operation on Thursday, June 6.

The work is part of contruction for Princeton University's Arts and Transit project. When completed in 2017, it will include a new Dinky station, Wawa, a restaurant, cafe, new public plazas and improved traffic circulation.
