Bias Intimidation, Receiving Stolen Property: Princeton Police Blotter

The Princeton Police blotter dated Jan. 2 had the following reports:

PRINCETON, NJ – On Dec. 19, 2023, at 1:18 p.m., following a vehicle crash investigation on Nassau Street, a 59-year-old Trenton man was found to have an active warrant out of Hamilton Township Municipal Court in the amount of $550. He was placed under arrest, taken to PPD Headquarters, where he was processed and later released with a new court date.

On Dec. 20, 2023, following a motor vehicle stop on University Place, a 46-year-old Hamilton man was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken to PPD Headquarters where he was processed, charged accordingly and later released.

On Dec. 23, 2023, at 4:49 p.m., a 71-year-old Princeton woman was found to be in possession of stolen mail from a residence on Constitution Hill Road East. She was also found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Princeton Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. The woman was placed under arrest, taken to PPD Headquarters where she was processed, charged accordingly and released.

On Dec. 24, 2023, at 9:55 a.m., callers told Police that graffiti was spray painted on two properties on Prospect Avenue by unknown individuals. The on-scene investigation revealed that the phrases painted on the properties were biased in nature. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Dec. 30, 2023, at 8:51 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop on S. Harrison Street, a 25-year-old Trenton woman was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Ewing Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000. She was placed under arrest, taken to PPD Headquarters and processed. She was later turned over to the custody of Ewing Police.
