Hilltop Park Ribbon Cutting
A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held for the all-new Hilltop Park Inclusive Playground on Monday, at 4 pm.

Princeton Public Schools
Superintendent Carol Kelley will host office hours community chat at Princeton Public Library. This is an informal opportunity for residents to communicate with the superintendent directly on topics of interest including the bond referendum, strategic planning, long-term planning, or other related educational topics.
Adaptive Halloween Dance
On Friday, Otc. 13, there will be a Halloween Dance & pizza party at Community Park Pool Complex. The event is being hosted by Princeton Special Sports & Programs, Princeton Recreation, Montgomery Recreation, and Town Square Princeton.
Wellness Walks: Forgotten Princeton History
On Thursday, Oct. 12 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m., gather at the Princeton Library for a midday walk highlighting the various historical and artistic features of Princeton. As part of the Mayor's Wellness Campaign, this event promotes physical and mental wellness and offers an opportunity to stay connected with the community.
Road Construction
- Chambers Street will be closed to through traffic Tuesday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct. 12, between Nassau Street and 15 Chambers Street to deliver equipment and materials for the Graduate Hotel.
- PSE&G Electric and S. Brothers will coordinate traffic control on Witherspoon Street while the curb and sidewalk construction continues and electrical upgrades on utility poles take place. Traffic will alternate in one lane through the construction area between Franklin Avenue and Green Street and full closure of Witherspoon Street may be necessary at times. Please be aware of the changing situation throughout the week.
- Spring Street Garage concrete repairs are continuing. Up to 100 spaces will be unavailable for parking on the upper levels of the garage.
- PSE&G’s contractor, Waters & Bugbee, will work on gas main replacements on Lilac Lane, Hodge Road, and Leigh Avenue. The work on Mt. Lucas Road may still be underway on Monday. New service connections will continue to be installed on Walnut Lane and Cuyler Road and work will be taking place along Valley Road at intersections. Drivers need to be aware that these roads will be closed at times, and detours will be in place.
- Other projects that impact traffic include the Alice development on Terhune Road and North Harrison Street; NJDOT replacement of the Washington Road bridge over the D&R Canal will be underway for several more weeks; and the Prentice Lane subdivision on Snowden Lane may require traffic diversion for construction of storm sewers.
