NJ Toddler Found Wandering Street Alone Sparks Search For Family
Authorities are investigating after a two-year-old boy was found walking on the street unsupervised on Tuesday afternoon.
HAMILTON, NJ — Hamilton Police are investigating after a toddler was found walking the street alone on Tuesday afternoon, though his family has since been found, police said.
At 3:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Nottingham Way for a report of a two-year-old boy found walking on the street unsupervised.
After a passerby found the child, the person stopped and put him in their car before calling the police.

Authorities responded to the scene and were unable to find a parent or guardian for the child or ascertain the child's name, police said.
He was then taken to a local hospital to be checked out as a precaution.

In an update posted on Tuesday night, police said the child’s family has since been located, and an investigation is ongoing.
